We are excited to announce that as of today, CyberPulse Platform, has launched its adaptive security awareness technology for financial, transportation, and healthcare institutions.

Focused on helping businesses build a cyber aware culture, the platform helps employees learn about cyber threats, respond faster with informed decisions, and be more productive with weekly bite-sized content sessions tailored to their business landscape.

When company co-founder Dr John McCarthy PhD worked across enterprise cybersecurity strategy, development, and implementation, he often saw the majority of all breaches were caused by human error.

In fact, he found security leaders responsible for training their employees (to adhere to best practice policies, compliance, and security controls) were only receiving 30 per cent of the picture with traditional user awareness products while also relying on manual reporting processes.

“This was a big enough problem for enterprises to keep up with the external threat environment that is always changing to adapt and evade internal controls and the people it protects without having to scale employee training needed to reduce human error manually,” said Dr McCarthy.

“CyberPulse empowers business leaders and cybersecurity teams to skill up their workforce and reduce human error. They gain the ability to quickly scale employee training, understand where the risk lies within the business with data-driven insights, and obtain a complete single view of the enterprises’ preparedness against emerging threats.

The idea for CyberPulse came to Dr McCarthy five years ago, but he said the adaptive security awareness technology was not in place to get it off the ground. Then in 2020, the state of technology was such that Dr McCarthy and the founding team could create tailored security awareness content capabilities through artificial intelligence-driven software. Customers receive a pulse score from the moment they start using the platform – the higher your CyberPulse, the more prepared your workforce is against cyber threats.

Visibility in enterprise cybersecurity is “fundamental,” but traditional awareness products and methods take a narrow, one-size-fits-all approach with no consideration for internal controls and external factors. They provide a blinkered view of risk, whereas CyberPulse can surpass that, said Dr McCarthy. The technology also needs to be learning from how different attitudes and values across the workforce interact with cyber awareness for it to be successful and drive productivity.

“CyberPulse is disrupting how security awareness products are educating and informing security professionals with its innovative pulse score – the higher your Cyber Pulse, the more prepared the workforce is against the latest cyber threats.”

As part of the launch, CyberPulse will be running a Virtual Event Series over the next six months for customers to learn how to accelerate foundational cybersecurity awareness building up to creating a business case for adaptive security awareness technology. To learn more about the platform, capabilities, and what this means for you as a customer, prospect, stakeholder, or partner, please book a demo.
